Liquid Destainer For Use At High Temperatures(80°C+)

CLAX SONRIL is a liquid laundry bleach based on stabilised hydrogen peroxide.
This oxygen bleach is formulated for bleaching during the mainwash, at temperatures at and above 80°C.It is a safer destainer for use on coloured goods than chlorine bleach; however, it is not ideal for removing blood stains and its use for this purpose is not recommended, unless the stains are substantially removed during a pre-wash cycle.

Background information
CLAX SONRIL is an effective bleach when applied at and above 80°C. At lower temperatures it is less effective. It should be applied at a pH between 10 to12.
CLAX SONRIL is fairly aggressive on protein type stains. For this reason blood stains will be easily 'burned' in. To prevent this, a pre-wash lasting at least 5 minutes at a maximum temperature of 35°C is recommended. In the case of tunnel washers (CBWs) avoid recycling any oxygen bleach to the first section of the tunnel. If rinse water (in tunnel washer) is contaminated with oxygen bleach, quench it using chlorine or a reductive agent.
Small traces of chlorine in the prewash will do no harm unless an enzymatic product is being applied at this point - since chlorine attacks enzymes, it will negate the effect of the pre-wash enzymatic product.
